The Lotus Lake House is a completely "green" exclusive home designed by the award-winning architect Michelle Kaufmann. It's a sleek modern design, glass walls that open, lots of windows and cool welcoming tones. As Michelle says, "this house has more love per square foot than any other I have known". We are completely off-grid and have "Build it Green" certification.
It is situated on 8+ acres of private forested property. We cleared just enough trees to have fabulous views of Rollins Lake. The glass walls open to the outdoors - blending indoor and outdoor living and making the house feel quite large. Bird watchers will love the rare birds that can be seen from our deck and the private hiking trail leading to the lake.
Our home is ideal for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or for an artist/writer retreat, especially those who want to support the environment while staying in an exclusive and unique property.
